This building was the first completed of the new university master plan prepared by Portman. The facility contains 33 classrooms, two distance learning labs, an instructional resource center, graduate student data lab, and a 380-seat general purpose auditorium and stage. The office wing is the gateway building. Located at the main entrance, the Academic Center is the first building one observes upon entering the Georgia Southern University campus.
