ATLANTA, GA (September 24, 2007) John Portman & Associates, Inc. (Portman) is pleased to unveil the design for One Charlotte, a 40-story tower to feature 99 luxury residences, situated atop the existing parking garage adjacent to The Westin Charlotte (also designed by John Portman & Associates) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Inspired by the crown logo of The Queens City, the sophisticated pinnacle of One Charlotte represents a defining skyline statement.

The slender tower rises gracefully in the Charlotte skyline, serving as a high-profile gateway on the southern edge of town. Sleek and contemporary, One Charlotte is essentially a glass tower from top to bottom, so every home has floor to ceiling windows offering stunning city views. The extensive use of glass also allows natural light to penetrate throughout the open floor plans.
